I have become shamefully hooked on the mobile game Nikke. I know what you’re thinking. Are you another mobile game addict? Lord help us all! And I do, indeed, need help. I never thought I’d be another number in the statistics of suckas taken in by Gacha games; but here I am! You’re probably wondering to yourself what a “Gacha” game is? Each girl has a unique voice and distinct personality that makes me want to collect them all. I can tell that the game’s writers and artists took their time and put great care into creating the cast of hotties.

I’m about to fire up Shining Resonance: Refrain on my steam deck. I’ve heard some not so good things about it, and some umm terrible things about it. But no matter! I’m well past the time limit for a refund so I’m gonna try it out!

So far, I don’t have anything bad to say about it. But, I don’t have anything great to say about it. I want to say it seems generic, but sometimes that’s all you need, just a nice little generic JRPG (Japanese roleplaying game) to pass the time.

I wholeheartedly regret buying a PS5, but at least it allows me to play Stellar Blade. The problem with that game? Well, it’s more a problem with me; I absolutely suck! And I’m not playing on Hard mode here, folks. Or even Normal mode. So what’s left? Yes, I’m playing on easy mode and the game is still climbing in bed with me and fucking me over!!! I’m getting beat so badly we should call 911 and report Stellar Blade for domestic abuse.

I don’t know what keeps me coming back to it. Is it pride? A masochistic streak? That sweet waifu booty? Maybe a mixture of all three?

I plan to fire up Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengance in the future. I’ll play it on my PC as I am part of the PC master race, mwahahaahh!
